Launch of two webradio stations in Denmark
POP FM does have a succesfull history in Denmark, but was closed down in 2005 due to the high music royalties in Denmark. But in 2010, SBS Radio re-launched the station as a webradio station. SBS consolidates position as the largest radio operator in Nordic Region!
ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG acquires SBS Broadcasting Group: Creating a pan-European Broadcasting Group.
SBS Radio Norway has entered into a partnership with the Norwegian media group TV 2, and trough the partnership will create a strong local and national player in the Norwegian radio market.
TV 2 and SBS agree on radio deal, future secured for the fifth radio channel.
TV 2 and SBS have signed a number of agreements, which means that TV 2 Radio is transferred to a new joint company, which shall operate the fifth terrestrial FM channel further in a new form and under a new name.
SBS Radio focuses on becoming the biggest commercial radio operator in Sweden. This is the background of an agreement with Stampen Group, MittMedia and Västerbottens-Kuriren, among other things resulting in the fact that nine radio stations in the RIX FM network change format to Mix Megapol.
NOVA fm started to broadcast today, September 8th, on the fifth danish FM channel. Attractive music combined with a professionial new coverage will attract listeners from P3 and P4.
